Our Leonberger "Monty" passed away 2 months ago after 10 wonderful years of love.
If we ever decide on to adopt another family member, it will be a Leonberger.
Keep up the good work.

We first saw a Leonberger in Italy when travelling, it was beautiful, huge, and very well mannered. That's when we fell in love with the breed. We love the photos of your Leo's and are very interested in a puppy. Could you keep us in mind and notify us when you have any available. We live in British Columbia, and have always had large breed dogs. Maremma, Golden retreiver, German Shepard cross, labs, but unfortunatley are without a dog right now. They all reached 12 to 14 years old but now we have none and miss having a dog very much. We live on 100 acres in a rural area near town of Fort Langley, an ideal place for a large dog.

Kramer and Emma are simply lovely. We'll be looking to add a new dog to our home soon and these Leo's seem perfect for us. We're partial to large dogs and have been owned by a rescued Great Dane and an Old English Sheepdog in the past. Somehow after the OES the Leonburgers' fur doesn't seem too arduous at all! Right now we have a twenty year old doxie we rescued some time ago to keep her from the kill shelter though we are not really small dog people. This hardy little dear is quite ill at the moment and we know we cannot have a home without a pet in it. Though the rescue doxie has been sweet we are going back to big gentle giants for our next dog. I'm just doing some research now and this breed seems such a perfect fit for us! Lovely, lovely, lovely and yours seem to all have a fantastic temprement from your posts! Just wonderful. I'll be in touch.

Mireille Bedard says...Hi Lori, just to let you know that we had to let Montana ( Boogie & Chan) go last Friday. She had been diagnosed with bone cancer a month ago. She was 7 and 1/2. She was the best dog ever and made us proud. She was a real sweetie. Your pups are so amazing. We are just grieving at the moment but I am sure my son who is 13 now will be asking for another Leo real soon. Are you planning a litter in the next year? Let me know. Thanks, Mireille & Tim
Mireille I am so so sorry. I hate hearing about Cancer. We lose to many of our wonderful dogs to it. Please give me a call and we can talk. Email me @ leolvr@sympatico.ca

Hi. Your dogs sound amazing! You mention in your site about "visitors" are these people looking for pups or just random people stopping by? I fist learned about leonbergers on a puppy show on tv, I fell in love at first sight. From there I always thought that if we moved to the right property I would get one. Thanks for all your info, and your blog. Very entertaining!
